🤔【What is HSK?】 HSK stands for Hànyǔ (Chinese) Shuǐpíng (level) Kǎoshì (test), which is the most important Chinese proficiency test in use today. It assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using Chinese in their daily, academic and professional lives. Currently there are 6 levels (soon to be 9). The different levels of the new HSK are similar to some of the levels in the Chinese Language Proficiency Scales for Speakers of Other Languages (CLPS) and the Common European Framework of Reference (CEF); Please check the picture at the bottom. 🧑‍🎓【Who is HSK 2 course for?】 HSK Standard Course 2 is suitable for students who have had 30-34 class hours of Chinese learning and mastered approximately 150 words, or those who are going to take the HSK Level 2 test. 📚【What will you learn in HSK 2 course?】 HSK 2 is the second part of the 6 levels. There are 15 units in the HSK 2 course, which takes about 30-36 class hours. Centering on one task-based theme in four situations, each unit teaches an average of 10-15 new words and 2-4 language points.
